Not content with our conquest of Europe (or at least a corner of it) in April, Jesus Bruiser will be joining "Finland's d-beat answer to Manowar", Diskelma, on UK tour in early June.

To everyone's suprise, the tour was not only survived, but the Bru Crew emerged the other side of a week of self-abuse with the missing (and surprisingly sober) ingredient...

Our driver (and ex-Minger vocalist) began singing a day in, popped the question to a band hideously hammered on cheap 9% lager at the Vrankrijk squatbar in Amsterdam on the day off, and proceeded to learn a song every night in soundcheck until, lo and behold, the homecoming gig featured her on every song and a permanent fixture in the band.

A new era of Bruising is born. Watch this space ye feckers, the ante is upped and expect to see us out and about across the UK in the future.

February 2008

The story of Jesus Bruiser has moved on apace since last it was told, many gigs have since been played with many cool bands, but not without it's casualties. One guitarist left, disillusioned with the idea that practices were optional and that travelling long distances to play like shit was fun.

We're still up for playing most things we're offered so get in touch. By the time this is up we should have some halfway decent demo tracks, and a proper release is planned by summer. Europe is also going to taste the anarcho/crust cocktail in April, as this adventure is being undertaken with no demo, merchandise or money we do not expect everyone to return (although it would be nice because we've got a gig booked in Bristol the Saturday we get back).
